The Perry Department of Public Safety is comprised of two distinct, yet deeply integrated, divisions working in unison to provide a comprehensive safety net for our city.
The Perry Police Department: Guardians of the Peace

- Patrol Division: The backbone of the department, our Patrol Division is on duty 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. - Criminal Investigations Division (CID): When a serious crime occurs, our skilled detectives in the CID take the lead. - Emergency Medical Services (EMS): A significant portion of the Fire Department’s calls are for medical emergencies. - Fire Prevention & Education: The most effective fire is the one that never starts.
